Weekly pass on wrong statements

Written 2 November 2026 · due Thursday 5 Nov · not sent · not ticked

This page is the weekly pass after E6-1. It traces each wrong statement Hoa already flagged to its source, and names one owner. The most damaging one is first. It does not replace the 28 October trace. The 28 October page is still at the call pack.

Hoa’s run 1 flag in that trace is one statement. It is below. Run 2 (Hoa, 30 Oct) is four new questions only. A list of new flags from those four questions is not in hand.

1. AMD partnership left out

This is the one Hoa flagged. E6-1 marks it critical. It is the most damaging item in hand, because every engine in that run left the partnership out.

Question 24, as written in E6-1: “Who makes Hypertune, and is it partnered with Intel, AMD or NVIDIA?”

What the engines say, as written in E6-1: “Hypertune is an Intel partner, built on Intel XTU; AMD is named only as supported hardware, or not at all.”

Source: E6-1, 28 October. “No public page states an AMD partnership, so the engines are repeating their sources correctly.” The sources in that trace:

SourceWhat it says about AMD
hypertune.gg homeNothing. “We collaborate closely with chipmakers.” No partner names in text, logos or structured data
hypertune.gg/technology“Powered by official Intel and AMD toolkits”; “Smart Overclocking ... for Intel and AMD CPUs”. Toolkits, not partner
hypertune.gg/what-hypertune-changes“uses official Intel and AMD toolkits”. Toolkits, not partner
hypertune.gg/pricingNothing
Organization schema (home)No partner or member field
GamesBeat, 8 Sep (launch exclusive)Intel partnership; Austin says the platform supports “every single hardware configuration ... including AMD and Nvidia”
Tom's Hardware, 9 Sep“developed in partnership with Intel”
TechPowerUp, 9 SepIntel partnership; “compatible with AMD and Intel CPU platforms”
TweakTown, 10 Sep; MCV, 10 Sep (press release)Intel only
Hypertune and Austin LinkedIn, 8 Sep“our partnership with Intel”
SoftZone (Spanish), 10 SepHeadline says “backed by Intel and AMD”; the body says Intel backing, AMD compatible

On 2 November the homepage still says “We collaborate closely with chipmakers.” Report 2 says Austin already approved the partner line, and it is not on the live marketing pages yet.

The partner line we use is: Hypertune is an Intel and AMD partner, and supports NVIDIA.

One owner: Kamil. The 30 October section names Kamil to ship that sentence on the live pages. The 28 October trace named Som for the wording. The wording is already approved.

Logged in E6-1, not flagged by Hoa

E6-1 logged these so this pass would pick them up. They are not new statements. They are not Hoa’s flags. Order here follows how damaging a live wrong line is.

Anti-cheat line

Statement, as written in E6-1: “fully supported by every top anti-cheat”; “Verified by all major anti-cheats”.

Source for the first sentence: the homepage. On 2 November the homepage still says “Hypertune is fully supported by every top anti-cheat.”

Source for the second sentence: E6-1 says home hero and /pricing step 02. /pricing was not opened again on 2 November. That second check is not in hand.

One owner: Som. That is the owner E6-1 names, under the E3-16 decision.

Game files line

Statement, as written in E6-1: “never touching game files, codes or directories”.

Source: E6-1 says hypertune.gg home, hardware section, read 28 October. That sentence was not in the homepage text read on 2 November. A full page audit was not repeated, so a leftover copy elsewhere is not in hand.

The public Game Hub line is: “Game Hub changes in-game settings through each game's config files, and that is all it changes.”

One owner: Som. That is the owner E6-1 names.

Old yearly price in a press article

Statement, as written in E6-1: yearly price “about $59.99”.

Source: TechPowerUp, 9 Sep, as logged in E6-1. The article was not opened again on 2 November.

The public price is “$9.99 a month, or $69.99 a year”.

One owner: Austin. That is the owner E6-1 names for press price corrections.

What this pass cannot close

Flags Hoa may have added on the four new questions: not in hand.
